Açıklaması şöyle.

the foreground program (lpr) sends its print jobs to cups, which stores it and then uses serial, parallel, USB, network, ... communication to actually start the printing process.

Bazı sistemlerde cups yerine lpd mevcut.
Tarayıcıda şu adresler kullanılabilir.
